05.08.2010 'Introduction to the CSES' presentation slides

The short course in Challenges and Opportunities in Cross-national Electoral Research was sponsored by ELECDEM Marie Curie Training Network in Electoral Democracy [FP7], PIREDEU and European Election Study: Providing an Infrastructure for the Evaluation of Electoral Democracy in Europe [FP7], CCNER Comparative Cross-National Electoral Research [ESRC], ECPR Standing Group: Public Opinion and Voting Behavior from a Comparative Perspective, and CSES Comparative Study of Electoral Systems.

Bringing together the major cross-national studies in political behaviour, this short course provided an overview of the opportunities available to researchers interested in comparative cross-national electoral research. It introduced participants to two well established, far reaching and widely used comparative projects namely the European Election Study (EES) and the Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES).

Presentation slides are available on the event webpage.
